About this event
Think of rhythm as a language. Creativity finds its voice, and therefore every beat tells a story.
This year, the African Drums Expo celebrates The Artistic Freedom of Percussion — Exploring the limitless possibilities of expression through rhythm, sound and movement.
Join us for an inspiring showcase where the boundaries of traditional rhythms are pushed as we explore the nexus between traditional African drumming and contemporary interpretations unveiling the freedom to create, improvise and express without limits.
Whether you are a seasoned musician, an aspiring percussionist or simply someone who loves music, there is a place for you.
No experience needed. No boundaries to creativity. Just bring your curiosity, your energy and your love for rhythm.
Come feel the beat. Explore the possibilities. Celebrate the freedom of percussion!
PS. If able, carry a percussion instrument of choice.
